There are several things that will be needed to be taken care of after your wedding reception is over. You, the bride, will not have the time make sure these are carried out, so ask someone ahead of time to take care of these tasks. You should ask someone in your wedding party, or a member of your family, to do this for you. Here is a check list of things to take care of after the reception is over:

_____ Top layer of Wedding Cake
_____ Gifts and gift envelopes
_____ Guest book and pen
_____ Left over decorations
_____ Left over favors
_____ Left over flowers and centerpieces
_____ Left over food
_____ Rented items (pillars, stand, tables, etc.)
_____ Unopened bottles of alcohol
_____ Wedding dress, if changing into going away outfit
_____ Groom's tux
